Renew 2025

May 5-9, 2025 in Montreat, North Carolina

Join us in North Carolina for five days of rest and renewal at the William Black Lodge at Montreat. Be renewed in relationship with other likeminded leaders.

This event begins Tuesday afternoon with lunch and a light conversation.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are yours to hike trails, meditate at the retreat center, or explore nearby Asheville. Launchpad will curate some options for engaging in self-guided and leader facilitated prayer practices and meditation throughout. Everything will be optional. This is your time to choose what you need to rest and recharge.

Our time will conclude Thursday evening.

You are welcome to arrive as early as Monday and leave as late as Friday afternoon. Your rate will vary based on occupancy and your length of stay. Most meals are included with your lodging. Choose from a double or single room.

Book early as availability at the Lodge is limited.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the retreat?

It’s a 25 minute Uber/Lyft ride from the Asheville airport to the William Black Lodge at Montreat Conference Center. Hiking trails, shopping and other options for things to do off-site are all 10-20 minutes away by Uber/Lyft as well. Some locals may be available to help with transportation if needed. Free parking is available for guests.

What are my lodging options?

The William Black Lodge offers double rooms with two full beds or single rooms with one bed. Handicap accessible rooms may be available if needed. All rooms feature private, ensuite baths, wifi on campus. Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Launchpad suggests you stay for 3 or 4 nights (Monday-Friday).

What meals are included with my booking?

Many of our meals will be provided at the Lodge and are included in your registration. For some meals, we’ll go off-campus (not included in your registration). More information on meals will be provided closer to May.

Will there be any programming during the retreat?

This retreat is focused on rest and relationship, so while we will offer some programming, it will be very light. We want you to feel comfortable to use this retreat as you need it most. Come with your full staff or a colleague or come on your own. Use it as a meetup with other pastors and leaders you’ve been wanting to see. You can socialize as little or as much as you like. Launchpad will reserve some meeting spaces, but small meeting rooms are also available to rent for a small fee if you would like to meet with your own team. Use this time for your personal needs, but enjoy the benefit of relaxing in community with like-minded colleagues across the country in your down time.
